LACubfest is in the Books

Postby staninlowerAL » Sat Mar 16, 2024 9:56 pm

I say it every year that it was better than the year before. All I can add is WOW!!!! Buddy and MS Hope with the crew of assistants has done it again. Better than ever in all respects. More projects completed, terrific food, wonderful fellowship with friends from far and near as well as new ones and the list goes on and on. Bob and Jeff processed more than 40 carbs through the repair station (a new record). I really don't see how it could have been any better but I'm betting the next year will be even better. Even my AVERY V was resurrected to new life thanks to all the terrific help from too many friends to try to list. I'm so very grateful to hear it finally run (a few minutes) after 10 years of waiting. Thanks again to all!! Stan

My thanks to Buddy and Hope and all the ladies that helped with the cooking. Great food as always, great company, but too many carburetors.

Our thanks to Buddy & Hope as well all the ladies. Thanks to Bob teaching me a little at the carb table. Bob is correct to many carbs.
Got home Sunday afternoon around 3:43 pm. Just took our time pulling the camper. Rained hard on Thursday at least we were inside.

I would like to Thank Buddy and Hope for the warm hospitality. Another Great Cubfest in the books. The pit roasted pig and beef were a big hit. Also the Ladies made us lots of great salads and deserts to go along with the meats. Johnny made some awesome deserts too. And Brandon’s ice cream was another big hit. I really liked the mixed beans we had on Saturday. They tasted so good! The carburetor table was busy throughout the weekend. There were so many Cubs running when they left, that weren’t running when they got there. (And an Avery) Such a successful Cubfest, Thanks to all who participated in any way!

Sorry for taking so long but i was not sure where to post this.

A great big thank you to Buddy hope Rosie and all the rest of them that helped put this fine curb fast together. It was great to see old friends and make new friends. Had a wonderful time. Hope to see everybody again next year.
