What do I have?

Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

Farmall A with the Hand-lift.

To find out the year you will need to look up the serial number located on the riveted tag located below the seat. Its going to be somewhere between 1939 and 1947.

Looks like an "A" to me. Maybe a Super A, but probably not.

Got a serial number?

Similar to the Cub, but doesn't share a lot of parts and attachments with the Cub.

No, it lacks hydraulics, the area for a pump isn't cast into that C113 block and there is no flat pad on top of the torquetube for a TC unit.

It's an early Farmall A made in Chicago.
If the tag is missing on the seat post no problem. On the early A's the serial number was duplicated on the engine block. Match that number to the numbers on tractor data and you'll have your year.
Just to throw a guess out there I'm gonna say 1946.
