Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

Ed's been busy building this sandblaster cabinet. My job is to post the pictures. Ed will tell you about it.

Circles will be the glove holders.

bottom cut to widen it for the funnel area.

This is where the fill door will go.

Thanks, Bob! The bottom photo shows the left side funnel section in place. I'm working on the right side one, then will install a clean out door on the bottom. The unit will have pipe legs, attached where the original tank legs mounted, about 2 feet long, with castors. The door will be framed with angle iron, for rigidity, and to provide gasketing surface. Lighting is in the planning stage. A mesh floor will be installed. The working area will be 26 inches wide, 5 feet long, and about 3 feet high. Should fit most of the parts I need to clean, especially implements. Ed

Larry,
I'll bring my torch. They will all fit, with a little bit of cutting.

That is going to be one heck of a sand blasting cabinet

And me too, I like to see what can be made out of stuff at hand. This is a good example of that. Great idea

That's going to be a heck of a blast cabinet! It's also a great use for an old heating oil tank. Around here, you can't give those things away.

I just have one question. With it being so tall, where is the stool Ed will have to stand on so that he can see inside and what he is blasting?

I like it. Milk crate and all it will be a very nice cabinet. Ingenuity -- use what you got. Makes a lot of sense to me

You gotta keep them pics coming.
