My son did a short video of the grinder, in operation, Sunday. http://www.neatta.org/slideshows/corngrinder/
The container being handed to me, contained corn muffins, that Rescue sold, along with coffee and DONUTS. I donate muffins to them, and if a potential cornmeal customer wants to know how it tastes, I send them to the Rescue Squad booth, to buy a sample. Win-win situation. Ed

The video was stubborn on the first try (my old computer) but ran fine the second time.

Very neat set up, really enjoyed that one. Kept me on the edge watching you stick your hand down it there. I guess the grinder knives are covered. Sounds like a worthy cause also.

There is a cob breaker, across the bottom of the hopper, which is covered by a sloping metal plate, that directs the corn to the grinding plates. I was regrinding, when the video was shot, and the meal needs a push, down the slope. (Double grinding, eliminates having to sift the meal) The actual grinding occurs in the rounded casting, above the discharge chute. Ed

You sure can "sniff out" a dollar, Boss! Yes, he bought a bag of corn meal. I try to sell enough, to cover expenses, Ed

Very nice work Ed, much safer setup, now folks can get a closer look at how things operate.
Thanks for the video, I'll be sure to share it with Grayson.
