Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

All this talk of cornmeal and I had to make me a batch of cornbread using Ed's Genuine IH Made Cornmeal. Boy is the cornbread tasty! Thanks, Ed.

Thanks, Bill, At least 2 of the Perrys enjoy my corn bread. Bob hasn't had any. Maybe I need to stuff a hunk into his face, might get his mind of the computer for 30 seconds, or so! Ed

The grinder made its "public debut" at the Bristol County Agricultural High School spring show. Ground 75 pounds of corn, Sold $58.00 worth, proceeds donated to the school. (100th anniversary of the school) Our spring tractor show is tomorrow, so it will get another work out! Ed

Total of 200 pounds ground this weekend! Worked well! (except when Scotlem showed up, then it wouldn't start, until he was out of sight!) Ed

The actual grinder itself--what type of grinder is it? Does it have stones or something else?

Its a McCormick Deering, Model "B", 8 inch feed grinder. (1940's vintage) Has metal plates, with little ridges cast into them, that do the grinding. It is capable of crushing and grinding cobs, too, for livestock feed. Originally had 3 options for plate coarseness, and mine, luckily, had the finest grade plates, ideal for making corn meal. I can adjust them for coarse cracked corn, to flour. Ed

My son took some pictures, Sunday, at the club show. http://www.neatta.org/slideshows/dad/dad_001.htm. Snuck in shots of his son in, too! Ed
Joe, I need ideas on how to extend the blocks on the brake and clutch pedals, so he can use it, too!

Glad my grandkids live far away from Bob's camera. I wish I knew the shows were this past weekend. My parents came over and they love the Bristol Aggie show. We had about 30 of us go last year.

Looks really good, nice work...

Chris, the aggie show was a small one, not the big fall show, you're thinking of. 100th anniversary of the school! Ed
