Changes to my corn grinder New PICS.added pics

Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

Ed has finally sent the rest of the pix. I had forgotten all about this until I saw the pix arrive today.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

That pretty cool, real nice!! You gonna mount that on a skid or trailer of some sort to move it around? It'd be awfully heavy to pick up!!

Its mounted on a frame, that will be placed on a trailer, for now. Might have a dedicated trailer built under it,at some point. Ed

Ed:

That is really slick. I like how you have used the rear final and built the custom pulley. What did you use as the lever to put tension on the pulley :?: Lots of questions .....

Nice job Ed, now it makes sense why you shortened the axel.

The tension lever is from a manure spreader. The final was used on my original cub pto driven unit, as a speed reducer. Axle was shortened, and new pulley was made. (Thanks Bristol County Agricultural High School) Ed

Started the engine, today. Works, as far as tested. No corn to grind. Need to pick some up. Clutch works, grinder turns, nothing fell off! Ed
