I had a second grinder that I wanted to be able to move around the shop as needed(other is stationary)
The floor in the barn is dirt, so stability was important. Here is what I came up with.

TN Cub Rescue- Out of the Hedgerows and Barns, and back into the Fields and Gardens where they belong. Today's generation is so used to getting everything IN a box, they can't think OUTSIDE the box
Re: new grinder baseRecently bought a grinder at auction. Mounted it on a board with a 2x4 on edge, centered under the board. Set the grinder in a vise and tighten. When finished grinding or buffing, move back to shelf.
I have an excuse. CRS.
