new grinder base

Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

new grinder base

I had a second grinder that I wanted to be able to move around the shop as needed(other is stationary)

The floor in the barn is dirt, so stability was important. Here is what I came up with.

Recently bought a grinder at auction. Mounted it on a board with a 2x4 on edge, centered under the board. Set the grinder in a vise and tighten. When finished grinding or buffing, move back to shelf.
I have an excuse. CRS.
