Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

Okay, this isn't "Let's Make A Deal", but I needed to do something about my shop doors. The old ones were sliders that needed new wood, new rails and new rollers. Besides that, they did nothing to keep the cold out and everytime I put new hooks on them to keep them from banging in the wind, the wind would get behind them and rip the hooks out. The noise was deafening in a storm. Enough was enough, I only have a little hair left on my head to pull out. By time I figured the price of all new material I decided new insulated roll up doors would be cheaper and less of a head ache. So, I spent the weekend making a few changes to the shop. Out with the old... ...and in with the new! Trim and paint will be next naturally. I have a feeling this will be a little better place to work in the future.

Thanks for the comments guys! if it weren't for all the Christmas lights I gotta start hanging I would probably get the gravel drive finished. RaymondDurban wrote:Nice Bill!! ....but did you get a bigger fridge in there??
Raymond, that little one did quite well for us during your visit, but thanks to Mr. Bill Hudson I have a large IH fridge in the barn. I need to figure out if it can be modernized and find a spot for it. beaconlight wrote:How tall are they?
Bill, they are eight feet tall and ten feet wide. I have about ten feet of head room but the dealer advised against going any taller with the doors.

Looks nice did you put the track up with balen wire or do it the correct way. Wire nuts thats all I'm going to say. They do look nice for Mels reception in the future.

Looks good Bill, Are you sure this isn't just an attempt to keep Dale and I from cleaning up the shop before the Bash? Bob
