3 point pallet lift
has anyone made a 3 point pallet lift. I'm thinking of making a 3 point pallet lift out of an old manual pallet truck that no longer works. its a pretty dang solid usa made one and I was at first thinking of just welding on the lift arm pins to the wide part near the bottom but then had a thought to weld on a cat 1 draw bar. then get some pieces of scrap angle iron or flat bar to weld on at the top and drilling or cutting to make the top link holes.

Re: 3 point pallet lift
I made one from scrap channel and angle and some flatbar and hung a set of forklift forks from it to move large round hay bales. It worked pretty good for that purpose but required some reinforcing to the original frame. I made the mistake of picking up too much weight with one side of the forks and warped the frame. This dropped one side of the fork tips so much that I can't get it into a pallet any more. If I could do it over I would never pick up any weight unless it was on both forks. Still working on trying to straighten the warped frame!!! JMHO Stan
