Passing of Bandit
Bandit, Scott's beautiful shepherd, passed away, on Friday, after a 2 month battle with cancer. He was only 7 years old. He became our dog, when Scott entered the Air Force, except when Scott came home on leave, when he was "his Boy"'s dog, again. Fortunately, Scott was home in June, shortly before the diagnosis was made, so they was able to spend time together. My wife asked Bandit, to please die, so we wouldn't have to make the decision to put him down. Friday morning,, he was so weak, we decided it was time. We had a 12:30 vet appointment. Lifted him into the back of the car, and started off. He climbed into the back seat, and put his head on the console, between us. We got to the vet's office, and I went in. They said to wait in the car, til the waiting room emptied, then, they would come out to get him. He died in the car, waiting for the vet. Thank you, Bandit, for honoring "Grandma's" last wish.

Re: Passing of Bandit
So sorry for your loss. We had to put one of our dogs down several years ago. Many non-dog owners realize what a pet means to an owner and how hard it is to make a life determining decision. Dogs truly become part of a family.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
