Tractors and models owned? Farmall Cub only! I am on my way to #2 as of this writing!
Are your tractors used for show or working? They are used for PLAY… Works two or three days per year, but plays many more!
How much Land do you work (Acres)? 4 acres
What was your first tractor experience (does not have to be a Farmall or Cub)? My first experience was on the back of a Farmall Cub… I was hooked then and knew that I would own one one day!
What is your Cub's primary work? Pleasure for his owner!
What is the favorite Cub of all which you have owned and why? Merlin is certainly my favorite…He served to bring a bunch of forum members together to get him going. I also got to meet a TON of people that I would have NEVER met through working on him. Merlin was also my first time to get into the mechanics of a running engine… it was awesome!
What first sparked your interest in owning a Cub? Childhood memories of riding on the back of ol’ Betsey… she was a great tractor and is still in the family!
What task/use of your Cub provides the most enjoyable seat time? Tossup between dirt plowing and snow plowing!
Favorite thing you like about Cub's and Cadets? Ease of working on them when they do break down as well as how easy they are to operate…
Describe your most satisfying or frustrating experience working on your own or someone else's Cub? Getting Merlin started after replacing the head and gasket. That frustrated me more than anything else in the whole world..
Do you host or participate in CubFests, Cubarama, Mini-CubFests? How so? You bet! Preparing for the Cheesy Cubfest II as I write this!! It is GREAT to get together with your fellow cub owners and shoot the breeze!

OTHER ENJOYABLE ACTIVITIES


What other hobbies do you enjoy? I am a musician in my spare time. I also am working with a team who is restoring an old Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ…. It is FAR more frustrating than working on the cub!

Good to see a BigDog understudy come into his own. It's been interesting following your
evolution from a newbie with no Cub to a Pro with 1 rebuilt Cub and one on the way.
