George thank you so much for helping start this great group. Pris and I have made many lasting friends through your efforts. It was an honor to spend the time with you at the Cubfests we attended. Your unlimited talents are an inspiration to many on this board. Again thank you.

George,

You are truly an inspiration to us all. Just think, for seven years, I lived within probably 12 miles of your home. If I had been interested in Cubs at that time and had known about you, I would have been visiting often to pick your brain. Thanks, George, for being who you are.

George:

I want to thank you for all that you have done, all that you gave and all that you have taught to me since we first met in cyberspace on farmallcub.com and atis.net. It is because of you and you talking me into hosting my own CubFest that I have really been able to meet so many wonderful people in person and to be able to call so many of the wonderful people in our Cub Community "Friend". You truly are my mentor, and I will remain indebted to you for a long long time. You have also helped me out over the years, with your words of support and understanding even as you battled your own illnesses.

Em and I are looking forward to meeting you and Marilyn in the near future. Please take care of yourself, be well, be happy and most of all, enjoy each other and your family.

We all are truly indebted to you. Thanks again. for everything :!:

I was fortunate to have attended Georges Winter Cubfest last year. There was a ton of activity and learning from George was very enjoyable. Thank you George for helping create the kind of atmosphere that helps us all learn more about Cubs. I expect Cubfests to continue for many years to come thanks in large part to guys like you.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
