Drop Box

Postby ricky racer » Thu Oct 01, 2015 8:39 pm

I've been using Dropbox to store photos in case I should have a computer crash or loose my phone. Like most, I take most of my pictures with my phone. The photos are automatically transferred to Dropbox for storage and easy access. My problem now is, with all the photos stored on my phone in Dropbox, I am approaching my limit in storage on the phone. I would like to delete the photos from my phone but not from Dropbox so I can keep my photos but free up space on my phone. Any suggestions??

Can't you set up individual folders in Dropbox? Have one for incoming and point your phone sync to that folder. Just copy them over to other folders for long term storage when you need to free up space.

If it's in Dropbox, then you should be able to just delete from phone and pics should still be in Dropbox. Also, if I'm not mistaken, Dropbox is supposed to see your available space is getting low on your phone and help you with freeing space up.
Delete an unimportant pic from your phone and see if it's still in Dropbox
