Me too, it is part of the Windows package that comes with your computer if you have Windows.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

IrfanView is also a great utility. Does a super fast bang up job. But to be fair, I also use Image Resizer on my XP machines, my 98 machind and an aftermarket Image Resizer that launches when I right click on a pic file on my Vista machine.

If ya'll can keep a secret - I was trying to use IrfanView on my work PC - I've used it before for renaming - but the way to specify 640x480 for a batch file escaped me today. It gave me % and other choices - none of which seemed to show maintenance of aspect ratio.

Now what we need is Allen Look to come back ( I used to work with and for Allen for many years) - to write a routine that crops the pictures to 640x480 on upload. Maybe I'll call him :D

I'm all set for now - thanks everyone!

I am correct in assuming that you do not get the Microsoft office picture manager unless you get Office on your computer, and then pay for it after the trial is over?

John, mine came as part of MS Office 2010 - MS Office Tools Folder. I don't recall paying for it after licensing MS Office on the PC.

Like all Microsoft products there is a cost. When it comes bundled on most PC's there is a trial period. I have the trial version still on this laptop running Vista. I have Office 2007 on it but I also own a licensed copy of Office 2007. The darn program will not accept my license key. After all the years of running Word Perfect/Corel and hating MS Office cause it is simply a stripped down version of Corel, I finally bought a copy of Office. So now I have Open Office and I am happy with that. Works a heck of a lot better than Office does, it is open source and it is free ... so much for MS. :big give up:

Course being on a limited income, there is no way I will ever spend another dime on MS Office, ever :!:

it came on my pc, but as Rudi said, was a trial version and it shut down after 30days. I am still running Office 2000.
