Posting pics....UGH

It wouldn't work this time?????
I had the pic on my puter from the website it's at; R clicked on pic; clicked properties; Highlighted and copied the address; went to text block in post; clicked Img; paste; clicked Img again! NO pic when I previewed??????

What am I goofin up?

Marion:

paste the url into the message box first!

Then, re-highlight the url and then and only then click the img button.

You might want to try doing this first as well:

first Type: [img]

then Paste in the url : http://www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/duck.gif (for example)

then Type: [/img]

This will work as well and may be easier to remember. I know it is for me.

so then you will have this:

[John *.?-!.* cub owner]

After rereading your post, you should have clicked "close tags" rather than img for the second option. That would give you the sme thing Rudi typed.
