Mobile Forum?

For a short while, I had a different looking forum view on my blackberry than I do on my laptop. While it took a little while for me to get used to that view, I came to find out that it was much faster to load pages' content and the pictures were always easily viewable in that version of the forum. All of a sudden the mobile hand-held version went back to the same version as the computer, and it slowed back down a bunch...

Was that hand-held verson eliminated? If not, can someone point me to how to get that version to begin showing up on my berry again?

If it's not detecting your mobile browser correctly, you can use this link to get it back: http://www.farmallcub.com/phpBB2/index.php?style=8

Basically, just add the "?style=8" to the end of the URL... works on desktop's too.

It's kind of strange. One time, I'll visit the forum on my phone, and it will register and use the mobile format, and then, I'll come back and it will go back to my computer's default setting...

Just did that to me last night. Does that happen to other Blackberry or other mobile users or is it me??

I actually tried to post something to the forum from my Blackberry. Imagine my amazement when I was able to. Kinda neat. Not a great platform to view the forum on or reply to (fat mitts makes berry's difficult to manipulate quickly :roll: ) :big give up: , but at least I know I can if needed :lol:

Hi again..... Did the mobile version go away again? I tried to put in the link again, but it didn't work again. Did I mess something up? The change just happened at the end of the day...

Mike, there were some issues with the mobile forum theme and I had to disable it -- hopefully, it is just temporary and I can fix it.

Make sure to remove the part of your url that says: ?style=8
(www.farmallcub.com/phpBB2/index.php?style=8)
That will stop you dead in your tracks...
