Slow to Function

Postby Dan England » Fri Apr 21, 2006 8:09 am

During the last several days, my computer is very slow to access this forum and most of the subgroups within it. I seem to be able to gain access rather quickly to the YT board. Are others noting slow access or does the problem lie with my computer. Thanks, Dan

Guys:

You are not alone.

I have been experiencing the same problems, and I have also been keeping Dennis informed. He is aware and is talking to the host about it.

It is not likely your computers -- it appears to be a host provider problem on their servers..

Just to make sure though, you may want to go to your Tools - Internet Options - General Tab - Internet History -- and then click Delete Cookies and Delete Files. Then Clear History.

This will clear your cookies and you will have to relog on to http://www.farmallcub.com... but it will clean up some junk on your puter as well.

This clears any and all corrupt cookies, files or pages and will allow your browser to load quicker.

It is just one step in issue resolution..

John:

Forgive me old friend... but that last one gave me my chuckle for the day :!:   I do apologize... and yes I do remember what that is like.

I still deal with Dial-up issues as I work with other computers.. my chum up the road still has Dial-Up and I go to sleep waiting for updates when I have to service his computer on site. That is why I tell him to bring it over... much easier -- faster too :!: :?
