7 HP engine. On sale for $119.99 plus tax. Picked one up to replace a 4 HP Tecumpseh on a Toro Junior tiller. Reason, the new engine was about half the price of the estimated repair on the Tecumpseh 4 HP engine, mouse pee problem.
Direct mount in. Only work needed was to drill and tap set screws on the old Tecumpseh pto pulley.
Specifications on line and in manual, very good. Following directions in manual, initial start, 3 pulls on starter rope. Subsequent starts, one or two pulls on starter rope.
Only problem I had was that the governor was set way to high/responsive. Initial test run/tilling, hit a hard spot. Governor snapped open, tiller did a wheelee running across the garden on the tines.
Value. We'll see. Thinking that, considering the tiller will be used 5 to 10 hours per year and the engine lasts 100 hours. Probably.
