I would have no problem what so ever staying at this location again. nice clean room new carpets and it looked like the bathroom had been completely remodeled within the last year.the rate this trip was $65.00 a night single occupant. i don't think it's much more than a mile and a half from cecil's place. a quarter mile down the road is a super market and a bunch of other stores i didn't really pay attention to,and if your going to the northeast cubfest's there is a tractor dealership about 12 miles down the road if your needing anything. great set up.

Michael,
That's good news.
I talked to Cecil at lunch and he is going to see if they can work out a discounted rate with a guarantee of say 10 rooms for CubFest Northeast this fall. The only challenge being the fall is still "in-season" for all the leaf peepers.
Glad you found the Blue Spruce Inn satisfactory.
Peter

I stayed at the Blue Spruce once again, it seems they had had a fire there and now they have completely remodeled the entire place. The owner informed me they had the only king size beds in the County. They slept well.

The owner told me the fire was in Feb and they just reopened two weeks before Cecil's. My wife was pleasantly surprised, although she did remark that there weren't any pictures on the walls, and some small details still needed to be addressed. I don't believe the older single story building on the other side of the office has been upgraded yet.
