good morning all from the soggy deep south. 4" of rain thursday , 2.5 inches of rain yesterday . i wont be plowing the garden anytime soon. I have quite a few milwaukee 18v tools/batteries , and been very pleased with their performance . I've been eyeballing that very inflator for some time , just couldnt pull the trigger on the $ 189.00 price tag . Walking past the home depot display last week , if you buy a set with two batteries and a charger for $ 199.00 , you can pick from a selection of 4 tools free . low and behold , the inflator was one of the choices . It is slick , coppersmythe...............................ps: with the crazy prices of lithium batteries , not a bad deal if you have milwaukee brand do-dads.

The Andes mountains contain the world's largest reserves of Lithium. Ever wonder why China has taken a sudden interest in South America?

I have the “as seen on tv” air hawk, I didn’t expect much from it but it actually works pretty decent. I’ve had it for about 4 years and it’s still working the same as it did when I got it. I seriously doubt that it would hold a candle to your Milwaukee.

I decided to spend some of my Home Depot gift cards from Christmas and picked up one of these a couple of weeks ago. What a handy tool for the shop. Used to be if I had a Cub sitting a while, like maybe the plow Cub or cultivator Cub, I would find it with a flat. I would have to fill a small tank to take out to it or fill one of the portable compressors and roll it out, both a little time consuming. Yesterday I needed to fill a tire on a Cub in order to move it closer to the shop. I grabbed the inflater and a 5 ah battery and headed out. In just a few minutes the tire was inflated and the Cub ready to roll. No compressors to fill or long hoses to wind up, just remove the battery and coil a 30" hose. I have a truck I want to work on this winter and it has a flat. Last week I set the gauge on 30 psi and within five minutes it was aired up. It used very little power from the battery. I love it!

Unfortunately they no longer had the "buy 2 batteries and get a free tool and a charger" deal going on.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

For those that have a stable of Dewalt tools instead of Milwaukee, Dewalt has a similar tool.
