Good stuff from harbor freight
I just wanted to let everyone know about some good stuff I use from harbor freight. Their marine grade heat shrink kits are good to go The heat shrink is adhesive lined and works very well and the kit is sure priced right. The rol- loc style sanding discs and surface prep discs work as good as the name brand ones and cost much less. If you have the name brand backer plate the harbor freight discs don’t hook to it just right but the kit with backer from harbor freight is cheap enough

Harbor Freight has stuff that is good, and some not so good. I have been using their impact sockets for years with never a failure. I have an air powere 1/2 inch impact5 and 3/8 air ratchet I bought over 35 years ago that still work great.
People who rant about China equipment being junk do not look into what actually happens. Chinese companies will make the cheapest piece of junk possible, or a piece of equipment that is well made and last for years, it just depends on what the American companies order and pay for.

Re: Good stuff from harbor freight
I to am a fan of most of there stuff. I have spent several thousand dollars there in the last 5 years. Some things that I am not totally satisfied with are there tarp straps, "total waste of money", electric motor tools can not be used hard or they will smoke out but they are cheep enough that I still buy them and throw them out when I burn them up. Also I am not happy with my table saw, the T slide is to sloppy in the track to make a square cut. Mabe we should start a thread on what not to buy.

Digital multimeters and LED flashlights, cheap enough that its not a big deal if you damage them. Their Briggs & Stratton clone engines are inexpensive and a good deal.
I purchased a 10KW generator head years ago. The volt meters gave out long ago, but the head still works.

I have an excuse. CRS.

I also have a straight and an angle die grinder from harbor freight. They have been used and abused in my home shop and at work and they still work great even though they are at least ten years old
