I had the chance to see the memorial at Pearl Harbor year before last. What a chilling and reflective experience. You can still see oil seeping up to the surface from below. We need to see this if we can and keep the story alive by telling our kids and grandkids about this event of death and sacrifice. Hard to believe anyone could see this memorial and not feel sadness, pride and patriotism.

All Americans should be ever thankfull for the sacrifices made by these fellow country men and women. We visited the memorial several years ago and it is quite an experience . That visit was the highlight of our trip . Let us pray that our nation would be ever vigilant to prevent another Pearl Harbor or 9/11 attack, I believe our security forces have thwarted many attemps at smaller but potentialy deadly terrorist attacks.
