The loss of a brother

Our community lost one of its finest today. Captain David Marti of the Greenville Fire Protection District lost his battle with cancer this afternoon. A long time member and great influence to the newcomers is gone. As with everything he faced he fought the fight until the end, but it was just more than he could overcome. He will be greatly missed and never replaced. Rest in peace 5103, your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
