Cubber in motorcycle accident -- Critical

Postby Buzzard Wing » Tue May 21, 2013 7:48 am

Luke Walker was in a very tragic accident Sunday afternoon when a car turned in front of him in Middletown, RI. He is in critical condition at RI hospital.

Luke is a great guy and has helped me out with Cub and Gravely stuff in his machine shop.

Prayers for our fellow Cub owner would be appreciated.

That same problem with people turning across in front of me was the reason I quit riding a cycle 40 years ago. Our prayers are with Luke and his family.

Could be the fascination with 'old' equipment, but I know 3 Cub owners in Middletown (next town over) that have classic motorcycles. Luke is one of them.

I don't have an update on his condition but will try to call the hospital or his neighbor (also a Cub owner) later this evening.

Thanks for the support and prayers!
