Here we go again

Well, as you know from my previous post I have started a new job. The job is going well and the atmosphere is a huge step in the right direction from my previous employer. I started on the 11th and am looking forward to the challenges of learning some new skills. Well on this Wednesday (the 17th) my wife was required to attend a mandatory meeting at her job. They announced that her place of employment will be closing. She works in a retirement home attached to a hospital. Needless to say she has been rather upset by the situation. Not only will her job be gone, but she has become rather attached to the people she cares for 5 days a week. She may be able to retain a job within the hospital, but there are definitely no guarantees. She hopes to find out more on Tuesday, but in the mean time has been inquiring about jobs elsewhere. We may both be starting over within a matter of a few weeks.

Chad:

I am glad to hear that you have found new gainful employment and are happy with the atmosphere. It is a hard double whammy though to find out your bride is now facing the same prospects. We will continue to keep you both and all in our prayers as you both deal with this situation. The Lord's blessings to you all (+)

Sorry to hear about the wife's and your potential unemployment problem.

Thought. Have wife apply as a navigator for the Affordable Care Act. Pay starts at $20- per hour and goes to $48- per hour.
