I don't know very many people who would want to purposely let ticks bite them... I know I wouldn't.

What you reference is only part of one study within a very broad research program on Lyme disease. I think it would be worth a call or email to the principle investigator to see what they may have to offer. My prayers for you and your wife.

i wish I had some kind of miracle cure i could tell you about, but I do not. there is a young woman that goes to our church that has been fighting it for years. She has for the last year or two made some improvements. I will ask her Sunday how she is doing and what the Dr. is doing to make the change.

I'll have to keep an eye on them. Thanks.

I know the feeling. We do have a great doctor. One of the best in the nation. So that is reassuring.

Thanks again all for the prayers. She starts her actual medication Monday. It'll be intense for the next several months now.

I am praying for her also.
My good friend and my brother both had lymes disease.
My friend had if for years undiagnosed and it affected him greatly. He has been treated now for quite some time
He looks great again. The antibiotics are working and he is full of energy once again.
My brother had it also and was diagnosed and treated . Time is what it takes.
God bless her and you also.

I now what she is going thru. I had Rocky Mountain spotted fever Part of the ricketts family just like lime. I went from running 7 miles every other day. To barely being able to walk. My wife is a nurse and she found me passed out on the floor. I spent 6 days in ICU. It took me two years to get half way back to normal. Good Luck
