Today is my anniversary, as of today I have been employed at the University of Mass, Amherst for 28 years. Where have these years gone? The place has gone through a lot of changes, all for the better, hmm not sure. Anyway my countdown to retirement has begun, you see I have the years but not the age, looking at maybe 6 more but you never know.

Joe when the time comes it comes. No sooner and no later. I am retired over 27 years and I love it. When you go out remember what my Great Grand Father Mc Court said " Use it or Loose it" Keep busy and you will not know where the time went. The hurricane damage on Staten Island has kept me busy lately.

Congratulations on the 28, and as you have noted, time flies, so wherever you are - take the time to enjoy the grandkids, they grow fast also (mine are now 23 and 26) but also include some time for simple things like actually smelling the roses and enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee. You'll look back six years from now and it will be like a flash. Yeah, and also, save, save, save, if ya can.
