Special Prayer Request

Postby Kodiak » Fri Mar 25, 2011 8:29 pm

I just talked to Corky a while ago and their family could really use our Prayers. As most of you know Charles's good friend lost his 20 year old Daughter last week and they were at the funeral today.

Most of you don't know that Jason's (Howerpower) sister whom I believe is in her mid 20's is in the hospital and battling cancer and is not doing well.

With Jason and Adrian's wedding coming up on the 1st its just a whole lot to deal with all at once, so please put Jason and Corky's family's on your personal prayer list as well as your church's prayer list. They all could really use our support right about now.

Ron
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Thanks all!

There's been alot of need for prayer over the last week in these parts, and I'm happy to report several examples of it's divine power as well.

A good friend was surrounded by family and friends of his daughter and him, to provide the strength he needed to lay her to rest with dignity and love. And our local law enforcement community found the wisdom and courage they needed to avoid feelings of hatred and revenge, while they brought a murderer of one of their own into custody without further bloodshed.

And I've seen Jason's commitment and loyalty to his sister as her time of need continues, and am reminded again just how compatible his values are with Adrian's and our own. I am a happy and fulfilled man, as my prayers are being answered; and I hope I'm not going to the well too often when I thank you all for directing your prayers now for Jason and his sister.

Many thanks.

Corky
I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn,
With pistons and valves frozen and worn.
Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com,
And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one),
Now ole Corky is running and back to life,
Much to the surprise of my dear, dear wife!
