My Friend
My buddy of 50 + years succumbed to his fight with cancer. God was merciful to him that he didn't have a long dragged out sickness. We had just traveled up to Williamsport Pa. within the last month or so to pick up a pair of rear tires for a cub. Steve traveled with me to the northeast cubfest at Cecil's.We had actually went out and looked at a few Cubs for him. I went and saw him this morning and he appeared to have found peace.

I am sure there will be a sore spot in your soul for a while, but with time, the memories, joy, and sunshine of a long and valued friendship will rise to the surface, and the pain of the loss will diminish.
We have known each other for just a short time in this life, but I have enjoyed the time we have had, and the insights to life that you have shared with me.
Knowing this, I have no doubt that your friend felt, and was blessed by having you in his life.
