Our Birthday Girl

Postby Miss Farmall » Sun Jan 18, 2009 10:29 pm

Monday, Jan. 19th will be our grandaughter's First birthday. We celebrated today with a party in her honor. Just wanted to share a pic of her. She started walking Thursday, her mommie found her first tooth Friday and she had her birthday party today. A ton of people came to her party and she received a lot of great gifts and lots of love. One of our gifts to her was a LTV (PopPop named it...Living room Terrain Vehicle) it was a purple Tinkerbell one. She did NOT like her birthday cake. I think she did not like the way it felt when her mommie stuck her hand into the icing, she cried. The funny thing she is doing with her tongue is feeling of her new tooth. Her name is Juliana and she is Mimi and PopPop's baby girl!

Cute Young'un Stacy! I didn't know you and Ron were grandparents!!!
I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn,
With pistons and valves frozen and worn.
Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com,
And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one),
Now ole Corky is running and back to life,
Much to the surprise of my dear, dear wife!

Thanks everyone! Guess I need to do more bragging since no one knows about my babydoll. She will be attending the gatherings real soon. :{_}: Her Cub might just be my hand-me-down of Pinky? Pop says the is too small for a Cub and needs a Cub-cadet. Nah, a Cub will do just fine.

Stacey, you said "Pop says the is too small for a Cub and needs a Cub-cadet. Nah, a Cub will do just fine."

What a brilliant man. Start her on the cadet and move up to the cub and she'll have 2 toys :{_}: :{_}: Grump

That girl is sweet, and going to be spoiled. I don't have any grandchildren, which may be a good thing. A cousin brings her grandchildren to see Mom once a week, and I do a good job of spoiling them when they come. Depending on which ones she brings, it is either twin 4 year old girls, or a 2 1/2 year old girl that has a brother still too young to go out with us, but even in the winter we hop on the golf cart or tractor and trailer and ride around our old farm, or go to the creek and collect or throw rocks. The last time at the creek we were wearing gloves due to the cold but we went anyway. Being retired is great.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
