Dan:

You know from our correspondence that Em and I are praying for you and Janie. It is scary and a hard row to hoe, but I can assure you from esperience that this type of journey is best handled with two sure things.

1. Footsteps... you may look back and only see one set, but rest assured, those are the footsteps of Jesus as he carries you throught this time of trials.
Footsteps In The Sand

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him
he looked back, at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:
"My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you,
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

2. Friends who are praying for a successful outcome. The Lord has given skilled hands and minds to those who are in postions of importance when it comes to our medical care. You are in good hands.. the Lord and his children who are taking care of a fellow brother in need.

May
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.
