Multiple prayers

Postby George Willer » Mon Oct 22, 2007 1:12 pm

I'm just back from seeing my sister off in the EMS ambulance. She had another fall for unknown reasons but still insists on living alone. They'll find out in the ER where the blood came from.

Her former husband Jack who I've always thought a lot of was just admitted with a blood clot that numbed his arm.

My other brother-in-law Bill is battling terminal cancer and his son Bob is too.

My step mother Mary spent Sat night in the hospital with suspected heart trouble.

Now the CA wild fires are threatening Marilyn's cousins Mary and Art who live within 4 miles of Malibu, just up the canyon on Mulholland Drive.

On the good side, Marilyn had a good report from the Dr. on her progress on her knee replacement and I'm still on my feet. My health problems seem small right now.

Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers.

Will do, George. That's a lot on your plate. Glad to hear the lovely Marilyn is getting back on her feet.

Hang in there George and keep a smile on your face as much as possible.

That way, you can help as much as the good Lord will allow to pull everyone through their individual challenges.

Sometimes it may seem like too much, but God picks out the strong ones and gives them more to bear to help lighten the load for others.

Take great good care,

Corky/Charles

Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com,
And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one),
Now ole Corky is running and back to life,

George, I've always had this saying,

Nothing is as bad that couldn't be worse from the day you was born till you ride in a hearst.

My wife, the stronger christian an I will be both praying for your healing as will as your family.

George, sorry to hear all the bad news. Your plate surely runneth over at the present, but we will be praying for better things and better days ahead. An old saying is that God will not put more on us than we can bear, and I know it will be true in your and your wife's case. Anyway, good to hear at least the good news about your wife. You all take care, Pete

Mr. George, it says in the Good Book that he will not put more on us than we can bear but sometimes he really stretches the limit. I and my entire bunch will be praying for you and yours. Here's hoping we both get good news from the medical people tomorrow.
