Re: Ohio Tornados
These tornados hit the area all around us. We didn’t know the extent of damage until we got up this morning. The Indian Lake area got beat up pretty bad, lots of homes and business’s destroyed. It was a real mean storm here but being dark we didn’t realize the tornados. Power was out for about 4 hrs. The latest word is 6 confirmed deaths in the Lakeview / Russell’s Point area. Several other towns had reports of touch downs but I don’t know the extent of the in and around those.

Good to hear you got through it OK, Gary. Another band of bad stuff came across Ohio along State Rt 36, just south of us. No damage here but I found a couple pieces of roofing felt in the yard this morning. They could be from as far away as Indiana for all we know.

Re: Ohio Tornados
Glad all is well for you Gary. Indiana and Kentucky got hit but our little corner of Ohio got through okay. Some trees were down in the area but no structural damage that I have seen or heard. Only problem in the barnyard is my 55-gallon barrel of aluminum cans is strewn everywhere from the back of the shop up to the house. I always worry about BOB when we get those winds.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

This same storm marched through Missouri Thursday afternoon with upwards of baseball to almost softball sized hail, and some damaging winds. Fortunately no tornadoes, though we were under a tornado watch for a few hours. I had to pick up my granddaughter from UMSL and drove through Pevely, Missouri when the sirens were going off.

Re: Ohio Tornados
We had to run into Lowe’s, yesterday, there is damage about 3 miles to our west. It nailed the tower line! Wires are hanging low and one tower seems to be down. We keep hearing more reports from the various neighborhoods of touchdowns. There must have been a bunch of tornados in the area. My wife’s daughter manages the Community Market grocery at Indian Lake, to store had a lot of damage and the hardware store next to it was destroyed.
