Well my days of being home alone during the day time has come to an end.
My wife Janice is officially retired. After working as a public servant in the Hancock County Treasures Office In Greenfield IN.
She has worked in this same office for 46 years. Starting out of high school in 1977 as cashier, then as a book keeper then as chief deputy. Then she decided to run for Treasure first 8 years then sat out 4 years then run another 8 years. Total of 16 years as County Treasure. She's been a big asset to the county plus helping in other stuff. She will be greatly missed. We got married in 1981. Have 2 very nice sons plus 2 grandsons that is great.
Plus the sons spouses. We plan on doing some traveling & camping.
Well most of you folks know her. Wish her a happy retirement when you see her at any of the cub fest we attend.
Well let the ne journey begin.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

My wife retired from the school as head cook last July, but was staying at the GS camp as cook all summer until camp ended the middle of August. I've enjoyed having her around during the day, if I need to chase parts (I've been self-employed several years) or we want to go somewhere during the week we can. So far she hasn't killed me and I've enjoyed the company and freedom it gives us. Hopefully she does too! I wish you two the best, enjoy the extra time together.
