Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Met with the oncologist's assistant yesterday for an educational session of what to expect during chemo. One small, possible silver lining to this cloud was her comment that instead of taking 6 months of treatment, she said after 12 weeks of chemo, they will evaluate where I am and the possibility that no more treatment will be necessary. That means getting done with this by June, instead of October. I'm not counting on it, nor banking on it. I'm going to act like we're going to October...but if I could be done with this in 12 weeks (6 chemo sessions every two weeks), I'd welcome that with open arms.
