Stanton’s Cancer Treatment Part 2

Postby Stanton » Thu Mar 31, 2022 3:38 pm

Ok, friends, here’s the latest…

Met with the oncologist today. He’s proposing an aggressive chemo treatment once every two weeks for six months. It’ll be a marathon, not a sprint.

Tomorrow starts a busy few days: educational session with the oncologist assistant, COVID test Monday, chemo port placement Wednesday, lab tests and full body CT Scan Thursday. This is to confirm absence of cancer.

Follow up visit with oncologist on April 15th, then chemo soon afterwards.

Robyn and I would covet your prayers as we begin this next phase of treatment. The Lord is my rock and resting place. He’s merciful and gracious, slow to anger but long on forgiveness…I need that.

Thanks to each one of you! :tractor:

Prayers for you.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
