Is it just me, or is anyone else enjoying staying away from people?

I've left my property twice in the past 3 weeks; both times to get groceries and nothing else. I was very sick for 2 of those 3 weeks and wonder if I didn't have a mild case of COVID-19 myself.

I am staying home and spending a lot of time on the computer and watching TV. Before all this came up, I was able to stay home and spend a lot of time on the computer and watching TV.

I'm not sure if there is such a thing as a mild case....

Many people who contract it have no or mild symptoms. That's why social distancing is important. You may unknowingly spread to others for whom the symptoms will not be mild or may be deadly.

I don't think it's yet known if recovering from Covid imparts immunity from reinfection.

Like you, Ricky, I’m kinda liking the lack of people. Although, I’ve had to cancel my motel reservation for the NEO CubFest, which I was looking forward to.

I am getting more done around the house and in the barn. 8)

I'm glad you're not letting this little setback alter your routine in any way. :D
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I am with you Bob...immunity hasn't been proven yet. I see a lot of requests for post infection victim studies so they can analyze their antibodies....or they are using them in the process to develop vaccines. I think the call for mouth coverings for all people is 3 weeks too late...it is just logical that normal respiring can likely spread it. I jumped on it 3 weeks ago and bought hundreds of kerchief bandanas, bike half face masks and face shields for our people so we have some good protection in the facilities.

A lot like Jim, our life style hasn't been affected all that much. Living in a rural area, not a lot of people darken our drive way and we have never gotten out and about a whole lot. Isolation is just more so. We do miss being able to go to our favorite eating places, though!

With working from home these past 3 weeks, it saves me from 2.5 hours to 3 hours drive time. So, that gives me a lot more time to spend doing little odd jobs around the place. I picked up over an acre next to me from my brother and I have been slowly cleaning that little piece of land up. My brother must have love rocks, because he left a bunch of them. I have been going through that property picking up some pretty big rocks, concrete blocks, bricks, pavers, etc. to make mowing the area a bit easier. This weekend I hope to split my B to get to the flywheel. With that being a two man job, I have to wait on my help.

we have not had much of a change . Worst aspect is not being able to visit the kids/grandkids . Video chat is ok , but just not the same as a real hug . we also miss the occasional meal out at our favorite places . The other night I did make some crawfish alfredo with anglehair pasta , crusty garlic french bread and asparagus to ease the pain of cabin fever :D . we work in the yard a lot , been cutting low hanging tree limbs today , and hauled the fallen ones to the burn pile . the wateroaks shed like crazy . does anyone else have a burn ban in place :?: coppersmythe...........................socializing can be highly overrated at times .
