mississippi is getting hammered with a strong front going through tonight . i can hear the thunder in the distance at 8:40 tonight , we'll get it in about 15-30 minutes. i think we are on the weak end , i hope . coppersmythe........................thanks for the thought !!!!!

I seen the weather reports of tornadoes in Mississippi. I there isn't any injuries or much damage. The same front produced snow/freezing rain/sleet in my area. My company suspended operations yesterday, which they hardly ever do. And I decided to work from home today due to the road conditions.

I pray for those that are affected by this weather, whether it be winter type or the spring type that the south is getting. Tornadoes in December just doesn't seem right, but I know it's a common occurrence to some areas of the south.

Thunder woke me up this morning about 4:00. Been thundering and lightning ever since. Supposed to rain all day and be 62 degrees.

Small f1 tornado 45 miles from me, all is OK

One came through just south of vicksburg about three miles from where I was working and another came little over a mile from my house. But we’re fine with no damage. I haven’t heard the full extent of damage done, but I do know Edwards, MS got hit pretty hard. That’s roughly 10 miles from us in Raymond.
