GOT BANGED UP

Postby tst » Wed Sep 11, 2019 1:26 pm

Hi all, just to let you all know that I am layed up for a while, was on my motorcycle and a deer leaped of a short cliff next to the road and took me off the bike, will be in the hospital for few days then home to bed rest for 6-8 weeks, have a broken left ankle, shoulder, collar bone, all the left side ribs and damaged the left kidney, which has been fixed, so I will not be in the shop for a while, that means no new parts or machine work, no rear seal retainers getting done
I will be fine just need time to heal up, sorry for the interuption of services but have no control over the for the moment
thanks tim

Wow, I'll bet that was terrifying, Tim. I sold my motorcycle this spring after having a few close calls with deer/other drivers. I wish you a comfortable recovery and am glad you made it. Godspeed...

I talked to Tim this afternoon. He sounded in good spirits. This isn’t the first time he has had an accident. Years ago a tractor turned in front of him. I told him if he keeps this up he’ll have broken more bones than Evil Kenievel.

thanks for all the good wishes, for most of you that know me I am to mean to croak  I will be back on my feet soon, will not accept otherwise, right now I have a few things hanging for customers that I feel bad about but cannot do anything about it at this time, was looking forward to Cecil's so it sucks, when I get better I am going to be ''CURING'' more of the deer population with lead :!:

Get well soon Tim. I guess the deer took the collision better than you did?

That's a bummer Tim. I hope you're back on your feet soon. I had a deer run out in from of me a couple of years ago and I t-boned it. Totaled my bike and roughed me up pretty good but I was lucky and didn't break anything nor did I have any internal injuries. Take it easy and get better.
