The cutting edge was done last week. If anyone’s wondering, it’s 8” long.

Got the blade back from powdercoat. I made it the same width as the platform carrier I made a while back.

Shane...I just had an image flash through my mind, of you sitting on the floor of your shop, playing with all your toys, with a huge grin on your face!! I really don't think there is any child for whom your are making these!

When Cole and I went last week to get the mower deck, I saw a fast hitch tillage tool I’d like to have for the 140. Got to thinking about the price he had on it and decided I’d try to trade him our 3 pt cement mixer I haven’t used in 8+ years. It was nice after a redo but didn’t need it. Cole and I rode up after work today and I looked at it, it had 6 shanks and would do what I wanted to do. I found the man and long story short he wanted some money and I didn’t have any. Not even change in the ashtray, lol. Hurt my feelings but Cole wanted to look around and so did I. We were almost done and I saw this. I ask what he wanted for it and it was less than he offered for the cement mixer. It has 3 rows and 13 teeth and the Cub picks it up. The wear bars are in excellent shape. What model is it so I can look it up on IH website. I’ve tried everything I can think of.

I saw a muffler and got him to throw it in on the deal, I came home happy. God is good.

The muffler is an original IH for a Cub with the clamp and cap and doesn’t seem to be rusted out.

Hey, Shane! I thought you were safety concious! You had better strap that "oil drum" down before you move it! And I have the perfect items for you...

20190204_163853-756x1008.jpg

Those are real, operating clips, and that is real, flat webbing that fits the buckles!!

My sister was making up some awnings, and ordered the buckles, failing to notice the units of measurement...3 MILLIMETERS, not centimeters, like she thought. She told me when she opened the package today, and those dropped out, all she could think was "what the f...!!!" After she realized it was HER error, she had a good laugh!

SO, if you need some strapping materials, just holler!! Or if anyone is into doll houses or other miniature stuff, let me know. For the $10 they cost her, it wasn't worth returning :? :D

That miniature boxblade has scraped more dirt than the 7’ one hooked to the Ford now. Gave it to our son and he plays with it a lot.

I came home from work yesterday and our son was all jacked up. A friend of ours who has a large IH collection brought these toys to him. He played with them all day, lol. My brother and I both had a manure spreader like this growing up but they got tore up. We didn’t have many red toys growing up, most of mine were green and yellow and most of my brothers were blue and white.

OMG! I have (most of) that set! I have them from when I was a kid! (1980's)
I have the tractor, 4-wheel wagon, 2-bottom plow, and the discs. My kids play with them in Grandma's sandbox.
I think I drove the front wheels off the tractor. Some of the plastic plow parts have chips out of them.
