It's 16 deg here and 37 in Anchorage Alaska.

-3 here right now.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: whats going on here.
We got to -12 in balmy eastern MO. about 70 miles south of St. Louis. Second night in a row below zero. We haven't made it up to 37 in over a week. Maybe it is time to move north.

Re: whats going on here.
Propane is rapidly being sucked out of the tank. Tank was filled on 30 Dec. This fill should last until late Feb, hopefully.
$50- left on the contract. Only contracted enough propane for a normal winter, expecting the propane to last until mid/late spring then get a summer fill at reduced price.

Re: whats going on here.
Cold temps sucked out around 200 gallons of propane from the 500 gallon tank in 19 days. That's close to twice the normal propane usage. Really hoping for more normal temperatures for the rest of the winter.Eugene wrote:Propane is rapidly being sucked out of the tank. Tank was filled on 30 Dec.
Will keep an eye on the percentage in the tank. When down to 20 -25% will call for a refill. There will go another $300- to $400- unplanned for.
