Hello all,
Nothing says Christmas like IH trucks, well maby not totally true, but it sounds, and looks, good. I don't know many here personally, but want to tell you all to have a Very Merry Christmas. The weather was good enough again this year that sister Hannah and I went out today to finnish my shopping today in HER truck. She has a 1956 IH S-112 pickup, nothing real fancy would like to get her fixed up nice sometime, but she runs and drives. A good month or more ago, with the thought of going out if the weather cooperated, i made her some sides out of old corn crib granary boards, to give it as she said, that classic Christmas farm truck look. Before that I had I had to get her heater core fixed to have some heat in the cab.
Well she decorated it up and we took that down to Champaign. Got lots of smiles, waves, there was one lady waving as she passed us with her window down and phone in her hand she was taking pictures while passing, and no she wasn't the driver. Well despite me having a fairly bad head cold we had an enjoyable fun day. Hope you all find some nice days this Christmas season.
Have a blessed Christmas.
A fellow cubber,
Russel Foster
