Found out today that my employer is cutting costs. Previously the company had provided donuts, twists, jelly filled pastries, etc., to each shift when the employes worked overtime.
The company spent $80,000- a year on pastries.
Informed the wife. She could not believe the dollar figure.

The donut maker will lay off a bunch of people. At least it helps save jobs at your place. Truly little things add up. In some of the stories yousee abgout kick backs, some one would be loseing a cut too.
