I hate to be a Scootch a menz but I wish every one would read Denises request for the info in your profile. He only asks that you put your state (as a two 2 letter US post office abreviation) and your county or town or north west , south east what ever. Aint nobody going be able to figure who you are and hurt you except Big Dog and his locater will find your cub even if you have it wrapped in tin foil. The worst that can happen is that some body in the same or state or the one next door will say howdy neighbor!!!!!!!!!! Upon occassion one will have something for sale. I saw something for sale and after 3 emails it was in Oregon. Hell I am in NY. $2000 freight didn't make sense. Would it to you? Just the state, not where in the state would have cleared that up from the beginning. It was a cub and the price was right.
Again I don't want to sound like a SCootch.

Idon't think you are asking too much and those people that don't put the price on what they are selling really burns me up. I just bought a small
suv and while i was looking i seen many listed with no price and they didn't get a call from me. have a good one.

Not only that, but it sure would help to plan a regional get-to-gether like a Cub-Fest or something..
I do understand that many people fear putting even that much info out on the net for all to see fearing that others may take advantage.
But, they must also realize that if someone is capable of taking advantage of them just from a user name... then they certainly will get a lot more from their DNS entry... a whois is not that difficult to do...
Only by reassurance will those of faint heart eventually fill out their city/state.
Oh, a lot of the time, it is simple an oversight as well.....
Good point though!

Even though I am the one who brought it up. I don't feel forcing people to register is good for us. Not having an general idea of the location of some one hurts the one with out location more than those of us who are located.
