Thanks John but I had sent him one this afternoon. Guess I was getting a little antsie. Just hoped that if some one was in touch with him they would relay the message. What kills me is that I had bought something from him last winter but didn't keep his address.

Thank You John. I knocked a lot of trees down for fire wood. I have 5 cords cut, split and stacked out side and a couple of cords in the basement. There are a lot of branches of suitable size left that I want to cut with the buzz saw. All I dragged out of the woods were the trunks. Beech is not a very valuable wood by us and I have a lot of it that has been attacked by beech bark beetles so it is enev less valuable. With 18 to 20 inch trees many of the branches are the size you split the trunks in to so I expect another cord or three there, Besides I hate to leave the woods a mess and fire hazard with all that slash. The Buzz Saw is ideal for that. The only problem is the Magnito. I am sure that Jon can fix mag so there will be no problem. Beech does't split as easily as some other woods but my old "Lickety Splitter" does a great job. I bought it 2nd hand about 25 years ago. I replaced an O ring on it once,

If you can't get it fixed let me know and I will do it for you. You can just take the long way around when you go to Franklin. Yes I know where it is I used to install telephones there.

Thanks guys. I heard from Jon and sent him the mag. He should have gotten it yesterday if the post office fulfilled their 2 day committment. Once we had things going I didn't pos any more. I now realize that I should have added that we had made contact.
Cecil I dont know how well you remember Franklin but my place is at the intersection of East Handsome brook Rd and Cary Road. If you come from town I am just past Post Road, a dirt road over the mountain(hill) to the Franklin, Treadwell Road. I bought it from Jim Edwards, he may have been the highway Commissioner when you were here if it was far enough back. Jim had a huge dam built to contain a 3 1/2 acre pond. Our place I built in to a hill looking over a field and the pond down the valley

Bill:

Course you did. Unfortunately 2 little errors.

In the first one you had a double http://http:// so, that will not work, but you had the img tags correctly wrapped.

In the second you had the url correct but forgot to wrap it with the img tags.

Fixed, works fine..

I was thinking today (that's probably a big mistake) for Cubfest Northeast how about a little seminar on picture posting and the use of the board. I could hook up a couple of computers thru a hub. That would give Rudi a good excuse to be there.
