frugal or just plain cheap?
Looking at the group pictures from this years Cubarama (#14) I realized I had on the same hat I was wearing for the first one, 14 years ago. Is that being frugal, or just cheap?

John I think it means that you got a really good quality hard wearing hat, and that your head hasn't got any bigger

It just means your head didn't get any bigger Honestly, with all the knowledge you have gathered over the years, I don't know how you keep it under one hat anyway

Re: frugal or just plain cheap?
I vote for both frugal and cheap.
I think I'm first or a close second.
I still have military clothing that I wore over 30 years ago in the army that I still wear.
I wear clothing on the acreage until the wife asks me to get rid of it. Then I wear it some more. When there is nothing left to cover my back side, I cut the clothing up into grease rags. And then use the grease soaked rags to start brush pile fires.
My sister says I'm so cheap that I still have the first nickle I ever earned. It's not true, I still have the first penny and a couple of sales tax tokens.

I have an excuse. CRS.

Yea John, but what you didn't tell them was this hat is part of your Cubarama costume. The other shows you wear a Deere hat???

Cubarama Costume you say? That hat is not the costume one that comes to mind. Sometimes he's just a clown in a different hat.
Frugal or Cheap? Hmmm, I'm going with traditionalist. (Hey, I may be dumb but I ain't stupid!)
