Surprise! Surprise!

Postby John *.?-!.* cub owner » Fri Mar 27, 2015 8:50 am

Woke up about 5 this morning and glanced out the window, and everything looked normal, back to sleep and woke up again at 7 to see neighbor heading out for work. Sure feel sorry for these 20 something kids. LOL!! Looked out the window again about 8 expecting to see the nice sunny but chilly day they were predicting. So much for that idea.

I don't know why I was surprised, someplace in Moms pictures is one of me holding my 8th birthday cake in about 3 inches of snow on April 18.

We're just damp and cool in southwest Virginia today. I've had enough of winter, and everyone else has too! Hopefully that white stuff will go away for you soon!

Yesterday it was in the 70s. I worked in the yard in a T shirt. Tonight going down to 22. I'm tired of winter and staying in the house and the wife is tired of me being in house to. :D

Seeing how it's late March, we didn't get that much snow this winter (in MO) and it won't stay around long...that's a nice picture, John. :coffee:

Also surprised. Linn, central Missouri. Slight skiff of snow on everything above ground this AM. Snow forecast for later tonight and early tomorrow AM. Won't last long, ground temperature is in the low to mid 40's.

Can only think about gardening.
I have an excuse. CRS.

We had snow this morning in southwest Virginia when I got up. By 9:00 it was gone. Mount Rogers and White Top are still white from it though.

Hopefully maybe this can be the end of this stuff for a while.
