A piece from our local paper.

Hail damages Valley apple crop
By ANTHONY COOPER DEMPSEYS CORNER - About 80 hectares of Valley apple trees were pummelled by hail during a thunderstorm earlier this week, ruining some farmers' entire crop.

Geoff Hennigar of Blomidon Farms Ltd. in this Kings County community was one of the harder hit, with over 90 per cent of the crop in his 24 hectares of apple orchards seriously damaged.

this is probable small apples along side what Dennis did a few days ago.
Take a little time to play, you don't grow old as fast that way.

I thought we had it bad last year when the hail did about 6,000 in damge to house and cars, but he is pretty much wiped out. Not only this years crop, but it will probably tkae a couple years for the trees to recover completely after being that badly stripped.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
