All I can say is DSCF
1975 cub (LouAnn) serial # 245946, 1941 John Deere Model H

John, this is what I saw when I looked out the window in Pope this morning. Big change in weather and climate between here and Potosi :!:

Beautiful picture…the only thing wrong with it is; I’m not in it.

The above pic is not what I saw when I looked out the window...that is in Jamaica...Negril. John is always telling me we don't know what cold weather is down here in MS. I will say this; woke up to single digit temp here a week or so ago. It was 4 degrees.

When you see it in the -10 to -15F for a week and highs below 10 for a week or more, then you will understand what cold is. We built our garage about 8 years ago. It sets on a rock fill and is heavily insulated. this is the first winter I have a thermometer that records the highs and lows, and this is the first winter I have seen it go below freezing in it. And it was there for several days.

Somebody got me dispatched to HOPKINTON NEW HAMPSHIRE  That's a place they put 5 foot flag poles on top fire hydrants so they know where to start digging them outa snow banks. And last time I was there , the wind was only slowed down by a 3 strand barbwire fence between there and the north pole.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Hopkinton, NH? If it was me I could have come up with way worse of a headache for you to get to than that, maybe like Littleton or Gorham or Colebrook or.......

Can't help. School closures 5 straight days. None of the snow pack is melting. Been about 20 degrees below normal for most of the winter. Road, up hill, from the trailer court, is still ice packed. Folks living in the trailer court have not been able to drive out for about a week. Just waiting spring, when ever it returns, if ever.

Way back when, central Iowa, Boy Scouts put day glow colored, 3 foot tall, fiber glass rods on each fire hydrant.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Lyle, save son's ashes from wood furnace and put on the hill for the trailer park dwellers.

http://www.columbiamissourian.com/a/170 ... snowstorm/

We should have a contest to see who has more snow related traffic accidents in a 24 hour time period.

Winner of the contest gets an other snow storm.

Edit: Another skiff of snow last night. More snow in the 10 day forecast.
