I am sure most of you have seen the negative press about Phil Robertson speaking his mind in my thinking we need more people who are not afraid of the correct police and have the guts to stand up for the morals of our country if Phil would run for president of the USA I would be the first in line to vote for him but i'm not sure about Si as VP.

If I said what I really thought. I wouldn't be politically correct. Unless you belong to some minority you better keep your thoughts to your self. That's why I retired when I did.

For what it's worth , I believe a man that is willing to speak his beliefs in public , as Phil did , and willing to take any backlash that comes from that belief is being a man , whether it turns out to be wise or correct to do so is another issue. I have to respect him and others that do not cower for fear of reprisal.... Just my .02 cents.

Discussing the topic with son. Son pointed out that the topic has created a tremendous amount of free advertising for A&E and Duck Dynasty.

Will just have to wait and see how things shake out.

Agree with previous comments on freedom of speech.

I could see the uproar if Phil said anything that wasn't correct. Should we all tell lies to be political correct? I think not....

My number one feeling is we need to protect freedom of speech
NUMBER Two, I have family members who are gay as do several other members, and hold on to your hats but we even have some gay members.
I respect what Phil said under freedom of speech, but at least one of these posts I am pretty offended by.
